Latent Print Suitability (16 hours, $299/person)


This course combines classroom lectures with hands-on exercises to instruct attendees on some topics of latent print development, the features of friction ridge impressions, general characteristics of latent impressions, anatomical orientation and exemplar impressions in order to help attendees gain a better understanding of the collection of latent prints of potential value for examination. Basic Latent Print Examination (40 hours, $499/person)


This course is designed for entry-level or aspiring latent print examiners. Participants will be introduced to some of the fundamental principles of the discipline and learn through lecture and practical exercises. Latent Print Processing (24 hours, $399/person)


This course combines classroom lectures with hands-on exercises to instruct attendees how to process many different types of surfaces for latent impressions and how to best document and collect them.

Latent Print Testimony for Examiners and Attorneys (16 hours, $299/person)


This course is designed for current analysts and legal counsel to collectively learn more about the latent print discipline, standards, and testimony regarding scientific conclusions. By having both parties represented in class, practical exercises become more specified and mutually beneficial.

Forensic Interviewing, Principles and Techniques (40 hours, $599/person)


This class is to serve as an introductory course into the forensic psychological interview process and the application of the techniques to victims of crimes for students, police officers, detectives and attorneys. This course is also designed to assist forensic science students, crime scene investigators, new trainees, social workers, psychologists and practitioners seeking to improve professional skills during interview process. *Also available in Spanish*

Advanced Latent Print Examination (40 hours, $599/person)


This final course is designed for current latent print examiners building their knowledge into an area of subject matter expertise. Participants will continue building their knowledge and skill and learn through lecture and practical exercises of increased complexity and have the ability to become a complete examiner through a full understanding of the discipline. This course may also be scheduled for a live, online version of the class.

For all live courses. Registration fees are refundable according to the following policy:

  • Up to 60 days prior to the schedules start of the course, a 100% refund of the registration fee is available
  • Up to 30 days prior to the scheduled start of the course, a 50% refund of the registration fee is available
  • Up to 14 days prior to the scheduled start of the course, a 25% a refund of the registration fee is available
  • Less than 14 days prior to the start of the course, refunds are not available.

This course combines classroom lectures with hands-on exercises to instruct attendees on camera functions, lighting methods and the best methods to photograph impression evidence within the laboratory and at crime scenes.

This secondary course is designed for current latent print examiners looking to continue building their knowledge and skills through the progression of topics. Participants will continue building their knowledge and skill and learn through lecture and practical exercises of increased complexity. This course may also be scheduled for a live, online version of the class.

Introduction to Crime Scene Investigation (40 hours, $599/person)


This course is designed for students, law enforcement personnel, investigators and crime scene responders who may be tasked with the documentation, processing, and collection of evidence at a crime scene. A variety of topics will be discussed and supplemented through hands-on exercises.
